Iraq Forum for Reconstruction and Development (IFRAD) is a private for-profit, non-partisan firm, the goal of which is to facilitate inclusive political and responsive processes in Iraq, the Middle East and other developing countries. IFRAD provides comprehensive assessments, research studies and policy analysis to our partners, and to policy makers in the US Government, the Iraqi Government, International and Iraqi NGO’s, and others to ensure their programs are grounded in local reality. We emphasize a consultative approach to the development of political/governance systems and procedures that are highly participatory, particularly in the grassroots level.

IFRAD strives to assist in the transformation of Iraq and Middle Eastern countries into pluralistic societies based upon freedom and tolerance in a manner that respects the heritage, cultural, religious and ethnic beliefs of the Iraqi people and the peoples of the region.

Our development professional expertise includes strategic planning, institution building, NGO strengthening, civil society development, logistics, business and opportunity-based economic growth (including micro-finance programs.) We bring a particular focus on networking, conflict resolution, mediation, and training in democratic/pluralistic principles compatible with diverse cultures, elections and the media.
